Bowls and Tea Dance sessions will move from Atherstone Leisure Centre to Mancetter Memorial Hall, running weekly from Thursday 7 May 2026.

These sessions have long been a popular part of life in Atherstone, and continue to be well‑supported by local residents, offering a friendly, relaxed way to stay active and social each week.

Indoor carpet bowls

Thursdays, 12:00–13:30

Mancetter Memorial Hall

A gentle game of bowls in a welcoming, informal setting for just £3.90 per week. The session is suitable for people looking to stay active at their own pace and enjoy a sociable hour with others. Refreshments are provided.

Tea dance

Thursdays, 14:00–16:30

Mancetter Memorial Hall

The Tea Dance is a long‑standing activity that has run at the Memorial Hall for over 15 years. It offers an opportunity to enjoy music, light dancing and company in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Dances include a mix of styles, such as:

  • Modern
  • Sequence
  • Waltz
  • Quick step
  • and more

Tea and coffee are provided, alongside guided teaching. Sessions are just £3.80 to join.
