Why we chose the name Heart of Our Community

The new leisure facility does not yet have its final name. Because the formal name is still being developed and will be influenced by ongoing work, we needed a clear and inclusive way to talk about the project as a whole.

Heart of Our Community was chosen because it describes both the location of the site and the purpose of the new centre. It reflects the role the facility will play for people across North Warwickshire as a welcoming place to stay healthy, connect with others and feel part of something bigger. The phrase also speaks to the values running through the project which include accessibility, sustainability and community wellbeing.
